How Ark Nova Works

Each turn, choose one of your five available actions: Cards, Animals, Sponsors, Association, or Build. The strength of an action depends on where its card currently sits in your action row.

After using an action, that card moves back to the lowest position while the others shift forward. This creates an interesting timing system where you constantly decide whether to use a powerful action now or wait for an even better opportunity later.

As your zoo develops, you’ll work towards both Appeal and Conservation. The game ends when your appeal and conservation markers meet, and your final position determines whether your zoo has achieved victory.
