The new Landmark module lets players place beautiful natural landmarks within their expanding habitats. Each landmark is connected to a particular environment and can provide valuable endgame scoring opportunities. You now have another important decision to consider while building your ecosystem: how can you create habitats that work well for both your wildlife and your landmarks?

The expansion also adds new habitat tiles, starter tiles, wildlife tokens and wildlife scoring cards. These can be mixed with the base game to create more variety and fresh combinations each time you play.

How to Play Cascadia: Landmarks

Before playing, set up Cascadia using the base game along with the components you want to add from this expansion. The new habitat tiles and wildlife tokens can be mixed into the existing components to create more variety.

Gameplay remains familiar to Cascadia players. Choose available habitat and wildlife combinations, then carefully place them into your growing ecosystem.

When using the Landmark module, you also work towards creating large enough habitat areas to place the appropriate natural landmarks. Their placement creates additional scoring opportunities and gives you another layer of strategy to consider.
