<p>In <strong>Wizard 30th Anniversary Edition</strong>, you take on the role of a magician’s apprentice who must predict exactly how many tricks you will win in each round. The challenge becomes greater as the number of cards in your hand increases, forcing you to carefully evaluate your cards, predict your opponents’ moves and manage your special abilities.</p>

<p>This anniversary edition brings back several popular special cards from previous Wizard anniversary editions and introduces two brand-new cards: <strong>Vampire</strong> and <strong>Witch</strong>. New scoring chips also replace the need to write down predictions and scores.</p>

<h2>Predict Your Tricks</h2>

<p>At the beginning of every round, players look at their cards and predict how many tricks they expect to win.</p>

<p>In the first round, each player receives only one card. In the second round, they receive two cards, and so on. As more cards enter your hand, the challenge of predicting your exact number of tricks increases.</p>

<p>Winning tricks is not enough. Your goal is to <strong>win exactly the number of tricks you predicted</strong>.</p>

<h2>Classic Trick-Taking Gameplay</h2>

<p>Wizard uses a familiar trick-taking structure with a magical twist.</p>

<p>Players normally follow the color that was led whenever possible. The highest card of the leading color wins the trick unless a trump card or special card changes the result.</p>

<p>Wizard cards are extremely powerful and generally win tricks, while Jesters are usually the weakest cards and generally lose tricks.</p>

<p>If your prediction is correct, you receive a reward based on your successful prediction. If you miss your prediction, negative points are applied according to the game’s scoring rules.</p>
